Welcome to THE SNIFF STORY. By accessing our website, placing an order, or engaging with our olfactory catalog, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Authenticity & Product Integrity
Every bottle, decant sample, and gift suite offered by The Sniff Story is guaranteed 100% genuine and authentic. Products are sourced directly from authorized European fragrance houses, master perfumers, and licensed distributors.
Because fragrance batches may undergo subtle reformulations by master perfumers across harvest seasons (natural oud, rose de mai, or vanilla absolutes), minor olfactory nuances may exist between production years. This is a hallmark of artisanal perfumery and does not denote a discrepancy in authenticity.
3. Pricing, GST & Taxes
All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). Shipping fees, express handling, or bespoke gift-wrapping charges will be explicitly itemized during the checkout process before payment authorization.
4. Orders & Acceptance
The receipt of an order confirmation email or SMS does not constitute our final acceptance of an order. The Sniff Story reserves the right to decline or limit order quantities if suspected of commercial arbitrage, fraudulent activity, or unexpected stock unavailability. In any such instance, an immediate full refund will be processed to the original payment instrument.
5. Delivery & Transit Risk
We partner with premier express logistics carriers to guarantee secure, shock-absorbent transit for delicate glass flacons. While standard delivery across metro hubs takes 2 to 4 business days, delays caused by unforeseen natural events, public holidays, or interstate octroi inspections remain outside our direct control.
Patrons are advised to inspect the outer tamper-evident security tape upon delivery before accepting parcels.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, The Sniff Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services. Patch tests are strongly recommended prior to extensive application for individuals with recognized skin allergies or scent sensitivities.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or controversy arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
